The Getaway

Charles sat on one of his family's private jets wearing a suit. He had his arm around Desiree, whom he had recently proposed to. He looked around the jet at the other passengers. Many of them were couples, some married, some engaged like Charles and Desiree, and some just dating. Some of them were nervous, but most were chatting away casually. For most of them, this would be the last time they would appear the way they were currently dressed until the end of the trip. For on this trip, many of them would be becoming someone new and exploring another identity. On this trip, for example, Charles and Desiree would be exploring relationships with others. While they were both madly in love with each other and would never cheat on each other, they were giving each other the week to pursue romances with others. For other couples, this trip was an opportunity to switch genders and enjoy getting to know each other from a different perspective.
Charles kissed Desiree and got up to meet the fellow passengers. He first spoke with Ron and Kelly, a married couple who were celebrating their anniversary. They had gone to high school with several others on the trip. They had each crossdressed once in high school and Kelly had convinced Ron to try it again for their anniversary. While each of the passengers' luggage had been sent ahead, their were shops on the island for those with limited wardrobes to expand their collection. The shops sold men's and women's clothing, shoes, underwear, accessories, and prosthetics, as well as beauty supplies and other items they may need for their transformations. They boarded a tram and were given a tour of the shops, cafes, beach, pools, gym, spa, restaurants, and several other features of the resort. They soon arrived at the main hotel and were instructed to wait in the main lobby while Charles left to change. Charles kissed Desiree goodbye since the next time he saw her he would be Charlene. The rest of the guests began sampling the refreshments that had been provided for them and checking in at the front desk.
Charles went upstairs with Stan and began to transform himself into Charlene. He went to the shower and removed his body hair, which he hadn't removed in a while since he had taken on the responsibilities of one of his family's companies. While most of those who come here are guests, there is also a small population of people who have made this island their home after attending events like this one.
